Where is the Merchants' Bridge?
No matter where you are in Erfurt - the Merchants' Bridge is easy to find!
Start at Anger, the central shopping street, and walk towards Fischmarkt through Schlösserstraße. From there, follow Rathausgasse until you reach the bridge.
Alternatively, you can walk along Marktstraße from Domplatz – this will also take you directly there.
If you are at the main railway station, simply walk up Bahnhofsstraße, then continue across Anger. Follow the signs to the Old Town or ask for the Wenigemarkt – it's right next to the Krämerbrücke.
Get off the tram at the stop ‘Fischmarkt/Rathaus’.
As soon as you see colourful half-timbered houses and not a river under the bridge, but houses on top of it – Congratulations, you're there!
